Mortgage Loan Originator - Northwest Ohio

Position Type: Full-Time

This is an excellent career opportunity for individuals who have 2 years experience originating 1- 4 residential mortgage loans. We are looking for energetic and highly motivated sales-driven loan originators. 

 

This position offers a competitive compensation structure (commission based with no caps on earnings), with a choice of compensation programs. Clerical and technical support provided to strengthen originations efforts.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Originate one-to-four (1-to-4) family residential loans by talking with customers and by making contact with Realtors, builders, etc.
• Respond to customer/contact inquiries regarding the Company’s loan products and customer's applications. 
• Keep up-to-date on government regulations and the Company’s policies and procedures regarding lending.
• Understand the lending division's procedures for processing, underwriting and escrowing mortgage loans and respond to staff's inquiries regarding loan applications. 
• Project a positive image of the Association and make sales contacts by participating in community activities, organizations and business-related functions. 
• Cross-sell and keep up-to-date on the Company’s product line.
• Sales efforts of Mortgage Loan Originators are supported with clerical assistance.
